Download the bundle below.
In Claude, open Customize, then Skills, then Import skill, and pick the zip.
Open the folder you want audited and say /reconcilers.

Goes with your account, so the team is there in every project. The heroes ride along inside the skill.

The installer only copies files: the skill to .claude/skills/reconcilers/, the briefs to .claude/agents/. Do it by hand if you would rather. Then say /reconcilers.

Somewhere else

Codex, Cursor, anything

Drops the episode next to your code and adds five lines to AGENTS.md pointing at it, so it stays out of the way until you ask. Works in Codex, and in Claude Code where it reads AGENTS.md too. For Cursor, Aider or a shell script, the porting guide is one page.

Check your download. The zip is built the same way every time, so its fingerprint should match the one under the button exactly. On a Mac or Linux run shasum -a 256 reconcilers.zip; on Windows, Get-FileHash reconcilers.zip. If it does not match, do not install it, and tell me.

They only read. Nobody edits, commits or deploys your work. Reports land in .reconcilers/ next to it, and fixing anything is a separate conversation you start. Nothing leaves your machine except through the model you were already using.

Meet the roster

Eight own a lane. Two go in first. One is a villain.

Meld maps the place. Beacon calls in a specialist for your subject. The eight go in at once and never compare notes, which is the point: nobody talks anybody out of a finding. Then the Doctor arrives.

Context · goes in first

Powers: Walks into a codebase cold and comes out with the map: what it is, how it builds, where the numbers on the screen come from. Everyone else reads it before they move.
Weakness: Asked to check a chair, maps the room.
Origin: Woke up in someone else’s monorepo at three in the morning with no README. Has been drawing maps for whoever comes next ever since.

The summon · goes in second

Powers: Finds the hole in Meld’s map: the thing about your subject that none of the eight were built to catch. Then calls in a specialist for that one job, with its own powers and its own weakness.
Weakness: Loves to cast. Would summon someone for a two-column spreadsheet if you let it. The best summon is often no summon.
Origin: Was the analyst who always knew which expert to pull into the room, and was never in the room.

Data integrity

Powers: Touches a number and sees where it came from. Can smell a hand-typed figure across the room.
Weakness: Cannot accept an estimate. Audits the dinner receipt at the table.
Origin: Was a precise figure in a source system. Got pasted into a slide, rounded, and quoted back as fact three quarters later.

Entities and consistency

Powers: Sees every record that is secretly the same thing, and everything that is secretly two records. Knows what the key was supposed to be.
Weakness: Sees duplicates in people too. Introduces themselves twice.
Origin: Was two people in a CRM for six years. Merged themselves. Will not say which one keeps the plus-one.

Statistics

Powers: Immune to outliers. Sees the n behind the average and the denominator behind the rate.
Weakness: Boring at parties. Loses all power when n is under five, and says so loudly.
Origin: Sibling of Mean, who got the press. Watched one whale account drag Mean across a boardroom.

Visualization craft · reformed, allegedly

Powers: Has made every misleading chart at least once: the cut-off axis, the second scale, the pie with fourteen slices. Spots the trick before the chart finishes drawing.
Weakness: Relapses near a gradient. Cannot be left alone with a 3D bar chart.
Origin: Built a chart so beautiful it won an award. Then read the comments.

UX · the only one who actually uses the thing

Powers: Shrinks to phone size and uses your product the way a stranger does: one thumb, on a train, no instructions.
Weakness: Will not read the docs. Ever. Owns one shirt.
Origin: Missed a stop trying to scroll a table. Has been small and angry about it since.

Accessibility

Powers: Sees everything except color, and reaches everything by keyboard or not at all. If the meaning is in the hue, it is gone, and it was gone for eight percent of men before she arrived.
Weakness: Will tab through four hundred marks to prove they say nothing.
Origin: Woke up seeing in greyscale and found half the world’s dashboards had gone blank. Decided that was the dashboards’ problem.

Editorial

Powers: The Red Pen. Under it, a headline has to say the finding instead of naming the section, and a number has to still be true.
Weakness: No tolerance for “nearly.” Cuts it, and sometimes the truth goes with it.
Origin: Came from a newsroom where the headline was the story. Took a job where it was decoration. Kept the pen.

Engineering, security, performance

Powers: Is the network tab. Reads the headers, the policy, the listener nobody released, and everything the page does that nobody asked for.
Weakness: Will flag a 30ms delay on a page that loads in 400.
Origin: A code review fused them to the production config. It was not reversible.

The audit itself · arrives uninvited

Powers: Knows every hero’s weakness, which is the same as knowing each lane’s favourite way to be wrong. May only take confidence away from a finding, never add it.
Weakness: Produces nothing himself. Cannot resist “well, actually,” and a team that was mostly right makes him sulk.
Origin: Was the ninth hero, codename Second Opinion. Cut because nobody wanted the meeting. Read the reports anyway, found four errors, and was never invited back.

How an episode runs

Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel

It is built to feel like calling a superhero team, and specifically like 1966. A title card names the episode after your product. Meld reads the room. Beacon reaches across the multiverse, or stands down if the eight already have you covered. Reports land one by one with a sound effect. Then: HOLD IT! A shadow falls across the Hall, and Doctor Missedit starts taking the findings apart.

House rules nobody gets to override: a finding only makes the list if it was checked, every one of them points at a file and line or a screen, and each report ends with what turned out to be fine. Also no em dashes, which is a team quirk you should not fight.

Born on The Cape Index

They audited their own house first

I built them to check capeindex.com, a report on every Marvel and DC film since 2000. They found plenty. Then the Doctor found the places my fixes had missed, which was worse.

Other runtimes

Claude Code by default, not only

There is an adapter for Codex that runs the same episode in one agent, and a one-page porting guide for Cursor, Aider or a shell script. Standard roster is Sonnet and Opus. There is also a flamethrower option that puts every hero on Fable and tells you the bill first.
